I MADE A PLEDGE IN THE VERY EARLY DAYS THAT I WANTED TO SHARE MY BUSINESS JOURNEY ONLINE.
This website is an incredibly honest insight into my experiences as I build a video production agency from the ground up. Expect transparency and detail that most other business owners would not dream of sharing.
Why am I doing this? I don’t intend to teach, or preach. This is simply a bare-all account of the ups and downs of business ownership. I want it to inspire others to embark on their own business journeys.
One of the best mediums for articulating my thoughts, experiences and vision is podcasting.
So far, my Diary of An Entrepreneur podcast has covered learning how to fire yourself, successful methods for finding new clients… And my darkest moment in business. You can listen to my podcast here.
I set up Stada Media in 2009. Running the business from a tiny box room at home, I had ambitions to make it a leading video production agency in West Yorkshire.
Today, Stada Media employs 15 people and has an impressive client base. But we’re working hard to become even bigger, and even better. Find out more about Stada Media here.
Film and TV has always been at the heart of my ambitions.
I’m completely self-taught: from the moment I first picked up a camera in 2009, to producing and directing five short films and several documentary and TV projects.
See some of my film and other projects on my YouTube channel.
Having a firm grasp of my own routines, tools and resources is incredibly important in the day-to-day running of my business.
I call it my CEO Operating System.
The four pillars to my CEO Operating System are Vision, Team, Knowledge and Evangelise. Read more about why knowing your own operating system is essential for business growth here.

I’m in the thick of growing a business, through incredibly difficult times.
This isn’t a success story of multi-million-pound deals, 100’s of staff and offices around the world. It’s an entrepreneur on the frontline: an intense, sleeves rolled up, wading-through-the-mud journey.
My story of building Stada Media from humble beginnings to an in-demand video agency is as inspiring as it is captivating. Amongst the drama, there are lessons for everyone looking to succeed in business.
